Consulting services are available at Elder Matters to support corporate and individual clients.

Consulting and education services are available for many and varied circumstances and audiences, including:

  • Families experiencing the very challenging transition to residential aged care.
  • Carers seeking support and assistance in navigating the carer maze.
  • Family support groups for family members/carers of people in the community or residential aged care.
  • Professional development/education /presentations for residential aged care staff and allied health professionals, inc. training in person-centred care.
  • Resources for allied health professionals counselling people living with dementia
  • Individuals and couples preparing for/transitioning to retirement.

Elder Matters also provides Employee Assistance Services (staff counselling) for aged care organisations. Aged and community care is a special and unique work environment with diverse rewards and challenges. Elder Matters combines particular insight into the environment of aged care with experience as a counsellor in the field of ageing (and other work environments). Employee Assistance Services also includes education services.
